Lets say the pups are born on day 1 as an example. The pups are blind and deaf the day they are born and remain blind and deaf for the first and second game day. They start out bald and grow their fur while they are confined to the burrow's insides. They may not leave the chamber they are being held in on their own at this time. The can see, hear, and explore the burrow on the third game day, but may not leave it. They leave the burrow for the first time on the fourth game day with a full coat of fur. They stay behind and don't leave the surrounding area this day. On day 5, they follow the mob when they go foraging, but still only drink milk. On day 6, they drink milk and eat regular food. This is when you train them to forage. On day 7 and on, they only eat regular food. On day 45, they're teens. Teens can babysit and fight in battle, but can't breed or gain dominance. On day 63 (1 year), they're full grown adults and can be treated as such. Teens can live alone if needed, but pups can't. All characters must die or disperse before they reach 13 years of age. I know it's not entirely accurate, but it's close and We can't having aging take too long.
